Dear Chivalry, stay dead

Description

I don't like chivalry. It's sexism disguised as "courtesy". If it's really about having courtesy and being polite, then why is it reserved or seen for "women"?

Now may I say, that their is two definitions, or shall I say - aspects of Chivalry. First it was originally the "ideal" of Knighthood, the code of chivalry. But in today's modern world, it has evolved to mean much more.

I want to be seen as a equal. I don't need a babysitter. Chivalry is totally not dead, believe it or not. ;_; But it SHOULD be dead, especially at this point of time. Don't confuse being "polite" with chivalry. Politeness in general is aimed for anyone, while chivalry is specifically aimed at women.

I'm serious, like for example my mother. I love her and all, but her thoughts are flawed. She WANTS the door opened for her. If a man doesn't do it for her, she gets mad. She won't date the dude or anything, if he doesn't treat her "properly". Pfft, women like this have issues.

then i hope, you're against the women-quota. because it's basically chivalry, but disguised as feminism. (actually, feminists turn chivalry on and off, based on how it's convenient for them).

"i want to be hired, because there are too less women in the high positions!... what? you're asking about my QUALIFICATIONS and that OTHER FACTORS than my gender, that should be the actual metrics if i get the job or not? SEXIIIIIIIIST!!!!!"

but at the same time, they never loose a word about more women in the DIRTY and DANGEROUS jobs, which are also dominated by men.

this gives me the impression that modern feminism actually DOES just aim for female privileges and not really for equality.
